This Smithsonian museum displays thousands of aircraft and spacecraft objects including the Lunar Module and the Wright Flyer. When the attendees arrived, they were greeted with live music and access to the entire museum. Along with the numerous exhibits, attendees had the opportunity to ride the flight simulators or watch one of the shows in the IMAX theatre. Passed appetizers and bars were positioned throughout the lower level with high boys. Round tables were also set up in the “Space Race” exhibit amongst some of the most famous space craft in history. Guests also had the option to eat in the “America by Air” exhibit, which includes a massive 747 fuselage and hanging aircraft from the 20th Century. The decor was designed in each of the eating areas to replicate the metallic silver and colors of the aircrafts on display.
